1/2TBLwhite vinegar
1tspyellow mustardor 1/2 tsp ground mustard
1/4tspchili powder
1/8tspallspice
1/2tspSalt and peppereach

Instructions
Heat a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat. Cook and stir lean ground beef in the hot skillet until some of the fat starts to render, 3 to 4 minutes. Add onion and continue to cook until onions have softened and beef is cooked through, 3 to 5 more minutes. Drain excess fat.
Stir in ketchup, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, chili powder, allspice, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
Divide meat mixture evenly among hamburger buns.
If you find yourself with leftover Sloppy Joe or just feel like making a double batch, the meat mixture freezes well for up to one month.
Ground turkey can be substituted for the ground beef.
Notes
If using ground beef with a high fat content, be sure to drain it before starting Step 2.
